Sure-Grip Malibu Indoor / Outdoor Roller Skates

One pair of skates. Rink night, neighborhood cruise, or a little bit of both.

The Sure-Grip Malibu is an affordable, versatile quad skate made for beginner and recreational skaters who aren’t ready to choose between indoor and outdoor skating.

The classic high-top vinyl boot provides extra support around the ankle, while the lightweight Sure-Grip nylon plate with aluminum trucks and 8mm axles gives you a dependable recreational setup without adding unnecessary weight.

Underneath are 57mm Malibu multi-surface wheels, designed to work on both indoor and outdoor surfaces. Their smaller profile keeps the skate maneuverable for learning basic skills, rink skating, and casual cruising. The setup is finished with ABEC-3 bearings and fixed toe stops.

Choose white with pink wheels for a bright retro look or black with black wheels for something classic and understated.

Why We Love It

The Malibu makes a lot of sense when you want your first pair of real roller skates without immediately buying different wheels and accessories.

You get a supportive high-top boot, Sure-Grip components, and versatile 57mm wheels in one approachable setup. It’s especially nice for beginners who want to try both rink skating and outdoor cruising before deciding what kind of skating they love most.

Jen’s Take

If you’re just getting into skating and aren’t sure yet whether you’ll spend more time at the rink or outside, the Malibu makes a lot of sense.

You don’t have to immediately buy another wheel setup just to try both. I also like the smaller 57mm wheels for beginners because they keep the skate feeling maneuverable and approachable while you’re learning.

Sizing

Please choose your color before selecting a size — the black and white Malibu use different sizing systems.

Black Malibu: labeled in men’s sizing.
White Malibu: labeled in women’s sizing.

For example, a Black size 7 is a men’s 7, while a White size 7 is a women’s 7. Do not use the same size conversion for both colors.

Because skate fit can vary from everyday shoe sizing, we recommend measuring both feet and using your larger measurement before ordering.
